Explore the Vibrant Wolrd of Disney-Pixar’s ‘Coco’ with “Coco VR”

Ahead of the release of Disney-Pixar’s Coco, the studio has released its first virtual reality experience that immerses players in the world and story of the film.  The experience is free and currently available for Oculus/Rift and will be available on November 22 for Samsung Gear VR.

In Coco VR you can choose either a single or multi-player experience where you take on the role of a skeleton and follow the magical alebrije into the luminous world of Coco. As you explore the world of Coco you’ll meet characters from the film like Miguel, Ceci and Hector. While you’re there you’ll be able to create your own unique style in Ceci’s costume shop, shoot silly selfies of your skeleton in the photo booth, take a gondola ride high above the city, or perform alongside Hector in a musical celebration of Dia de los Muertos.

According to Fast Company, you can also visit, “an art studio packed with concept art from the many years of the film’s production” and a “cinema showing test footage that wasn’t used in the final move[sic]”
