The Disneyland Resort Releases List of 2017 Halloween Treats

Bat Wing Raspberry Sundae

This Friday kicks off Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort and today the Disney Parks Blog released the full list of fall treats available at the resort through Halloween.  Not everything announced is Halloween or spooky themed, but here are the treats that are!

Disneyland Park

While Disneyland has a number of new food offerings according to the post, the overall amount of “spooky” treats announced was limited to a few options on Main Street, in New Orleans Square and Tomorrowland.

Main Street, U.S.A.

Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A. will feature a handful of Halloween themed treats.  At the Main Street cappuccino cart you can choose from an assortment of Halloween-inspired donuts.  At the Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe, guests can indulge in a Mickey-Shaped Mummy Macaron – A white chocolate macaron with white chocolate drizzle and chocolate-salted caramel filling.

New Orleans Square

Guests visiting New Orleans Square will want to visit the French Market Restaurant where they can enjoy the Oogie Boogie dessert – A dark chocolate cup filled with layers of dark chocolate mousse, green pound cake and chocolate cookie crumbles with gummy worms.

Tomorrowland

Halloween is still cool in the future, so guests visiting Tomorrowland can pick up a Spider Parfait at both the Galactic Grill as well as Red Rockett’s Pizza Port.

Disney California Adventure

The expansion of Halloween to Disney California Adventure, brings with it a slew of Halloween treats throughout the park.  From drinks to desserts DCA visitors will have plenty of creepy treats to enjoy during this year’s Halloween Time at the resort.

Buena Vista Street

As you enter DCA and make your way down Buena Vista Street there will be a number of Halloween food options to choose from.  At Clarabelle’s Hand Scooped Ice Cream you can pick up a Bat Wing Raspberry Sundae, which is made up of white chocolate-raspberry swirl ice cream with raspberry splatter, blood-red sprinkles, whipped cream and a Bat Wing cookie.  Clarabelle’s also features the Spider Silk Ice Cream Sandwich, made up of a black macaron with charcoal-tart cherry spun ice cream topped with popping candy and raspberry sauce.

Not a fan of raspberry?  Pig out at the Fiddler, Fifer & Practical Cafe on a Sleepy Hollow Cupcake.

After sampling these sweet treats, swing by Carthay Circle Restaurant and Carthay Circle Lounge and wash it all down with a Poison Apple-Tini– a spooky mix of Crown Royal Apple, Dekuyper and cranberry juice with Green Poison Apple glow cube.

Grizzly Peak

Looking to wash it down with a non-alcoholic drink?  You can head to Grizzly Peak and wash it all down with a Green Apple Spell Lemonade with cherry drops from Smokejumpers Grill.

Pacific Wharf

Carthay Circle isn’t the only place you’ll find an adult beverage to get you in the Halloween spirit.  Pacific Wharf will feature a variety of festive fall beers.  At Pacific Wharf Cafe, enjoy a glass of Anchor Blood Orange Blonde or a Sierra Nevada Oktoberfest.  While you’re there you can also pick up a Pumpkin Raisin Bread Pudding.

Fall libations will also be available at the Pacific Wharf Distribution Co. where they’ll have Karl Strauss Oktoberfest Handcrafted Beer on tap.

After all that drinking, you can soak up some of the booze by picking up a Pumpkin-shaped bread at the Boudin Bread Cart.

Paradise Pier

If you’re looking for an actual meal to get you in the Halloween spirit, then you’ll want to head back to Paradise Pier where both Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta and the Cove Bar will have some Halloween themed eats for you to enjoy.  While Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta will have two new pizzas over the next couple of months, only the October pizza is Halloween themed.  That’s when they’ll be offering the Anti-Vampire Pizza.  There’s no description of the pizza available, but my guess is it has A LOT of garlic.

At the Cove Bar, you’ll be able to choose from a number of Halloween Specialty Cocktails, but you can also enjoy their “Ghost”-ly Pepper Nachos– made with ghost pepper-marinated flank steak, and green tortilla chips, topped with ghost pepper cheese sauce, black beans, and avocado-tomatillo salsa.

Hollywood Land

In Hollywood Land you’ll be able to score some Halloween treats at Schmoozies, Studios Catering Co. and the Studio Bar.  Schmoozies will feature a variety of sweet treats including a Monstermallow Donut – Flaky donut with marshmallow filling, a Mummy Macaron Ice Cream Sandwich– Almond macaron shell with dark chocolate “eyes” drizzled with white chocolate and filled with rainbow sherbet or a Caramel Apple Smoothie made with fresh apples, caramel and ice cream.

In celebration of Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark, Studios Catering Co. will be offering Dragon’s Breath Tacos– Pork belly tacos, Korean barbecue sauce, kimchi slaw and Sriracha aioli.

The Studio Bar will have a wide variety of Halloween drinks including:

  • Limited-time beers of the Halloween season from Stone, Ballast Point and Blue Moon
  • Festive cocktail concoctions, including margaritas, spicy ciders and micheladas
  • Fun non-alcoholic lemonades and ciders for all ages

Cars Land

With Cars Land getting the bulk of the Halloween overlay this year it appears it also gets the bulk of the food choices.  At Flo’s V-8 Cafe you can pick up a Car-achnid Pot Pie, which is a chicken pot pie with dried cranberries and butter-crust spider.  A Grape “Ghoul”-ant Shake or a Mini Candy Cone Pie– A cream pie with vanilla, butterscotch and white chocolate pudding.

At the Cozy Cone Motel, you can indulge in a Spoke-y Cone Macaron filled with marshmallow buttercream and candy corn, or pick up a bag of Junkyard JamBOOree Mix, which is made up of your choice of flavored popcorn with optional “nuts and bolts” (e.g., green M&M’s, candy corn, chocolate-covered pretzels, Boston baked beans, etc.)

  • Candied apples, cake pops, and crispies featuring popular characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Jack Skellington and Disney Villains including the Evil Queen, Malificent and Oogie Boogie.
  • Pumpkin fudge
  • Pecan praline fudge
