San Diego Comic-Con kicks off later this week and with it comes a slew of announcements around comics, movies, and all things pop culture. Storm King Productions, the publisher behind John Carpenter’s Tales for a HalloweeNight is getting a jump start on things by releasing the trailer for its forthcoming third volume in the Tales for a HalloweeNight series.
Set to hit stores starting in September, the graphic novel features 12 all-new frightening stories from authors like John Carpenter, Sandy King, Steve Niles, and James Ninness. Pre-orders are currently being taken for the book and it will hit comic shops on September 26 and book stores on October 10.
For those headed to this week’s San Diego Comic-Con, some of Carpenter’s collaborators will be sharing tales from working with him on a new anthology title, John Carpenter’s Tales of Science Fiction.
Co-creator Sandy King Carpenter, writer James Ninness and letterer Janice Chiang will be speaking on a panel Friday from 8-9 p.m. in room 28DE.
