“Seeing ‘Halloween’ in theatres is unlike anything else. It’s the way the film was intended to be experienced,” said Malek Akkad, CEO of Trancas International Films.

“‘Halloween’ is more than just a film. It is an experience that has become part of how people celebrate the season,” said Bernadette McCabe, Executive Vice President of CineLife Entertainment. “We’re thrilled to bring these classics back to theatres so both long-time fans and first-time viewers can share in the excitement, the scares, and the fun of spending October with Michael Myers.”
“Halloween,” the film that started it all, tells the story of six-year-old Michael Myers, who murders his sister and is institutionalized for 15 years. He escapes and returns to his hometown of Haddonfield, Illinois, to stalk and terrorize teenager Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her friends on Halloween night, all while being pursued by his psychiatrist, Dr. Sam Loomis (Donald Pleasence), who desperately tries to stop him.
The story continues a decade later in “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers,” where a comatose Michael awakens and learns he has a niece named Jamie Lloyd (Danielle Harris), Laurie Strode’s daughter. He escapes and returns to Haddonfield to kill her, with Dr. Loomis again in hot pursuit. The film concludes with a shocking twist as the evil appears to be transferred to Jamie.
“Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers” picks up a year later. Michael returns to finish what he started, but Jamie, now in a children’s hospital, has a psychic link with him. Dr. Loomis attempts to use this connection to lure Michael into a trap, leading to a final confrontation. The movie concludes with a mysterious “Man in Black” helping Michael escape, leaving the story open for the next chapter.
