Interestingly, while the Halloween shopping season arrived earlier than ever this year, 45% of respondents said they don’t plan to start shopping until early October.Decorating Continues to GrowHome and yard decorations remain a staple, with 68% of respondents decorating outside (up from 62% in 2023 and 30% in 2022) and 61% decorating inside (up from 58% in 2023 and 26% in 2022). Garage, vehicle, and office decorating also continue to gain popularity, reflecting a widespread desire to bring Halloween spirit into all spaces.Pumpkins remain the most popular type of décor (50%), followed by animatronics or moving decorations and inflatables (21%), and skeletons/skulls (18%).
