In collaboration with Universal Products & Experiences, it’s an awe-inspiring tribute to one of the most iconic monster movies to ever grace the silver screen.
Standing at a staggering 31.5 inches tall, this fully sculpted statue captures the Gill-Man in mid-ascent. Expertly painted in muted greens, the sculpt highlights the creature’s prehistoric anatomy—from its piercing wide eyes down to its powerful webbed hands. To enhance the ‘underwater’ illusion, Sideshow has positioned the figure among translucent aquatic flora and a swarming school of red piranhas.
The piece is a collision of craftsmanship and fandom with iconic details for fans of the 1954 classic: the base features a snapped boat cable from the Rita, and the Creature’s left foot is missing a claw—a direct nod to its struggle with the expedition’s nets.
