Storm King Comics

Storm King Comics has announced it will make its exhibitor debut at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, taking place next weekend, April 18-19, 2026.

The publisher, founded by Sandy King and John Carpenter, is bringing a heavy-hitting lineup of horror and sci-fi. Fans can browse titles from fan-favorite series like Dark & Twisted, Tales of Science Fiction, Night Terrors, and the younger-reader-friendly Storm Kids.

Fans will also have the opportunity to purchase “Tales for a HalloweeNight Vol. 11.” This volume features the first chapter of “Cathedral,” the highly anticipated first original graphic novel from the Master of Horror himself, John Carpenter. While the full graphic novel won’t hit shelves until August 2026, this is your chance to get your hands on the opening chapter.

Fans in attendance will also have the opportunity to have their books signed by some of Storm King Comics’ authors. Amanda Deibert & Cat Staggs (“Death Mask“) will be signing copies of their works at noon on Sunday, April 19, followed by a 1 p.m. signing by Duane Swierczynski (“Dead Flowers“).

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 18 and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 19 at the University of Southern California.
