Lionsgate Announces 4K UHD Vestron Video Collector’s Series Release of ‘Ginger Snaps’

Lionsgate has announced that the 2000 werewolf cult classic “Ginger Snaps” is joining the Vestron Video Collector’s Series with a 4K UHD + Blu-ray + Digital combo pack on May 19, 2026.

A sharp, bloody metaphor for puberty and sisterhood, John Fawcett’s cult hit follows death-obsessed teens Ginger (Katharine Isabelle) and Brigitte (Emily Perkins). After a late-night attack by a mysterious creature, Ginger begins a terrifying transformation that blurs the line between teenage rebellion and lycanthropic hunger—leaving Brigitte to try and save her sister before the change becomes terminal.
