First Gameplay Footage for Psychological Thriller When Sirens Fall Silent Revealed

During the Day of the Devs: Summer Game Fest Edition, publisher Wired Productions and developer LKA gave players their first look at the gameplay for When Sirens Fall Silent, showcasing the grim mystery, complex characters, and unsettling world of the upcoming psychological thriller.

Guided by LKA Founder and Director Luca Dalcò, the reveal video offers a deep dive into the game’s backstory, early gameplay footage, and the heavy themes it plans to tackle, including human trafficking, addiction, trauma, and misogyny.

Set in the suburbs of Rome in the early 1990s, When Sirens Fall Silent thrusts players into the shoes of Mila, a determined policewoman tasked with solving a high-profile case involving a series of kidnappings and murders.

To uncover the truth behind the grim case, players will need to utilize a variety of investigation mechanics. This includes conducting key character interviews and navigating branching dialogue that can alter the course of the investigation. Players will also need to solve environmental puzzles by searching for clues and piecing together evidence hidden within the atmospheric surroundings.

When Sirens Fall Silent marks the third collaboration between Wired Productions and LKA. The game serves as the next entry in their anthology series, “Storie Senza Voce” (Voiceless Stories)—a collection dedicated to exploring the narratives of forgotten people and marginalized populations. Fans of the studio will recognize this hauntingly empathetic approach to storytelling from LKA’s previous critically acclaimed titles, The Town of Light and Martha Is Dead.

While a release window for the game has not been announced, it is available to wishlist now on Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.
