Some of McDonaldland’s most iconic residents are getting a retro Halloween makeover.
NECA is expanding its popular Ben Cooper Costume Collection with a new trio of action figures inspired by Grimace, the Hamburglar, and Birdie the Early Bird. Scheduled to ship in late 2026, the figures reimagine the classic characters in the style of the vintage vinyl masks and plastic smocks that dominated trick-or-treating from the 1950s through the 1980s.
Each six-inch, fully poseable figure wears soft-goods clothing designed to replicate classic Ben Cooper costumes and includes a miniature Boo Bucket accessory modeled after McDonald’s original 1980s Halloween pails. The figures arrive in numbered, retro-style window boxes that mimic vintage costume packaging.
