Midsummer Scream attendees can double down on the spooky fun this weekend with free access to one of the world’s most legendary haunted destinations.
The Queen Mary is opening its doors to convention guests Aug. 7–9, granting complimentary general admission to anyone who presents a valid 2026 Midsummer Scream badge. Located just minutes from the Long Beach Convention Center, the historic ocean liner is pairing free entry with access to its signature paranormal tours, hidden bars, and new retail offerings.
Guests can immerse themselves in the ship’s supernatural history through its signature paranormal experiences, including the Haunted Encounters Tour, an introduction to the ship’s most infamous ghost stories offered daily; the Paranormal Ship Walk, an after-hours exploration of hidden spaces and reported paranormal hotspots; and the Graveyard Tour, a two-hour late-night journey through some of the Queen Mary’s most notorious haunted locations. Tours are available for an additional fee and advanced reservations are encouraged.
Onboard, visitors can grab themed drinks at the Observation Bar (open 4 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily, extending to 11:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday) or hunt down the No. 3 Speakeasy, a hidden Prohibition-era lounge open Friday and Saturday nights.
Guests can also stop by the newly opened Jackie’s Spirit Shoppe, a paranormal-inspired retail experience located aboard the ship. Named after the legendary child spirit said to haunt the First-Class Swimming Pool, the shop features exclusive ghostly souvenirs, collectibles, apparel, and keepsakes inspired by the Queen Mary’s haunted history.
