Following weeks of online leaks, Wendy’s officially confirmed Thursday that its Frosty Frights Kids’ Meal toys and annual Boo! Books fundraiser will return this fall.
The all-new Frosty Frights lineup hits participating restaurants nationwide on Sept. 14. This year’s lineup features six main monster characters, each accompanied by a rare variant for a total of 12 toys to collect. Each item includes a mini trading card and a sticker sheet.

Frosty Frights will return to Wendy’s Kids’ Meals starting on Sept. 14, featuring six new characters, each with a special variant, for a total of 12 toys to collect. This year’s lineup of characters includes:
- Numb Chuck: A Frosty dressed as a stealthy ninja.
- Sir Choc-O-Lot: A spectral, armored knight.
- E.A.T.: An extraterrestrial Frosty visitor.
- Cold Foot: An abominable snowman Frosty.
- Shiver Wing: A bat Frosty.
- Taranchilla: An eight-legged spider Frosty.
A specialized storybook featuring the Frosty Frights characters will again be available as an alternative to the physical toys for younger children.
Wendy’s is also offering a secret 13th collectible toy exclusively to its Wendy’s Rewards members. Details on how to secure the final figure will be announced inside the Wendy’s mobile app in the coming weeks.
Alongside the toys, the fast-food chain is bringing back its annual Boo! Books promotion. Available for $1, each coupon book contains vouchers for five free Jr. Frosty treats and one $1.99 Kids’ Meal with purchase.
90 cents from every $1 coupon book sold directly benefits the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, supporting its mission to find permanent homes for children in foster care. Books can be purchased in-restaurant, via the mobile app, at self-service kiosks, or in bulk through the foundation’s website.
Both promotions will be available for a limited time. Participating Wendy’s locations in Canada will offer Boo! Books and a selection of six “Frosty Frights” figures starting Sept. 28.
