Slash Unleashes New Limited-Edition Vinyl Pressings of Universal Studios Hollywood Halloween Horror Nights Scores

Just in time for spooky season and the arrival of this year’s Halloween Horror Nights, Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash is reissuing his acclaimed Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights scores on vinyl. The exclusive release features two brand-new, limited-edition variants available through Snakepit Records and Deko Entertainment.

Following multiple sellouts in previous years, “Music of Universal Studios Hollywood – Halloween Horror Nights” Vol. 1 and Vol. 2 return as vinyl-only releases. The albums feature 21 original compositions written and recorded by Slash specifically for the theme park’s annual haunt event.

For the past eight years, Slash has served as the musical architect behind many of Halloween Horror Nights’ most memorable haunted house experiences, creating immersive scores that enhance the atmosphere, suspense, and terror encountered by millions of guests each season. His compositions have become an integral part of the event, blending cinematic storytelling with his signature musical style to create unforgettable sonic landscapes. Continuing that tradition for this year’s event, Slash contributed the new original song “15 Candles” for the house “Killceañera: Music by Slash.”

Among the featured material on these releases are the score for 2024’s “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines”—which spotlighted classic horror icons like The Bride of Frankenstein, Dracula’s Daughter, She-Wolf of London, and Anck-Su-Namun—as well as music from 2025’s “Scarecrow: Music by Slash.”

Both albums are presented in deluxe gatefold packaging and are strictly limited to just 300 copies each. Vol. 1 is available on exclusive “Swamp Thing” Colored Vinyl, while Vol. 2 arrives on “Yellow Smoke” Colored Vinyl, exclusively through Deko Entertainment.
