The holidays are coming early this year. Briarcliff Entertainment has dropped the official teaser trailer for “Christmas at the Kringles,” a bonkers genre mashup from “Willy’s Wonderland” director Kevin Lewis.
Hitting theaters Oct. 30, the horror-comedy stars Ron Livingston and Rachel Bilson as the Seversons, a couple initially charmed by their next-door neighbors, the Kringles (Thomas Lennon and Arden Myrin)—a seemingly picture-perfect family celebrating Christmas 365 days a year.
When the Kringles turn out to be part of a sinister Christmas cult with plans to kidnap and indoctrinate them, they must rely on the help of a washed-up alcoholic Mall Santa (Rob Riggle) and their other neighbor, Daryl (Donald Faison), to save the day.
The stacked ensemble also features Beverly D’Angelo and David Wain in supporting roles.
“Christmas at the Kringles” is coming exclusively to theaters on Oct. 30.
