Tubi released the official trailer for “R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2,” giving horror fans a frightening first look at the upcoming sequel ahead of its Oct. 9 premiere.
The new footage showcases horror royalty Cassandra Peterson as a reclusive witch residing on the outskirts of Redhaven. More ominously, the trailer reveals that the central heroes aren’t battling a solitary monster this time around. A fresh curse has resurrected an entire family of pumpkin-headed terror.
Series leads Bean Reid and Adeline Lo return as Sam and Becca, who are once again forced to stop the curse before it claims the entire town. Directed and written by returning filmmaker Jem Garrard, the sequel builds directly on the events of the 2025 original and adapts the story by R.L. Stine.
The film also stars Matty Finochio, Bob Frazer, Seth Isaac Johnson, Kendra Anderson and newcomer Sebastian Billingsley-Rodriguez.
“R.L. Stine’s Pumpkinhead 2” begins streaming for free on Tubi on Oct. 9.
