A24 Debuts First Trailer for Ian Tuason’s Paranormal Podcast Horror ‘Undertone’

A24 has unveiled the first trailer for “Undertone,” an atmospheric descent into sound-based terror written and directed by Ian Tuason.

The film stars Nina Kiri (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) as a popular paranormal podcast host who returns to her childhood home to care for her dying mother. Her isolation is shattered when she is sent a collection of terrifying audio recordings documenting a pregnant couple’s supernatural encounters. As she listens, she realizes their haunting story mirrors her own—and each file drags her deeper into a state of psychological unraveling.

Michèle Duquet (“The Virgin Suicides”), Jeff Yung (“The Shrouds”), Adam DiMarco (“The White Lotus”), and Keana Lyn Bastidas (“The Hardy Boys”) also star.

“Undertone” is set to arrive in theaters on March 13, 2026.
