If you caught “Backrooms” in theaters over the weekend, you were treated to a surprise first look at the trailer for “Onslaught,” the upcoming horror film from Adam Wingard (“Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire”). But on Tuesday, A24 officially unleashed the trailer to the masses.
The film stars Adria Arjona (“Andor”) as a badass Army sniper living in the remote desert. When a rogue squad of genetically engineered super soldiers breaks loose from a nearby military facility, she’s forced to unleash hell to protect her young daughter.
Dan Stevens (“Downton Abbey”), Eric Wareheim (“Tim and Eric’s Bedtime Stories”), Reginald VelJohnson (“Die Hard”), Michael Biehn (“Aliens”), Drew Starkey (“Outer Banks”), Rebecca Hall (“Vicky Cristina Barcelona”), and MMA fighter Alex Pereira round out the film’s cast.
