Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios, the makers of “Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey” and its sequel, have announced the arrival of “Bambi: The Reckoning,” the next entry in the Twisted Childhood Universe also known as the ‘Poohniverse.’ Directed by Dan Allen (“It Came From Below”) and written by Rhys Warrington, “Bambi: The Reckoning” arrives in theaters on July 25, 2025.
“Bambi: The Reckoning” tells of a mother and son who, after getting in a car wreck, are hunted by Bambi, a mutated, grief-stricken deer on a deadly rampage seeking revenge for the death of his mother.
The film features Roxanne McKee (“Game of Thrones”), Nicola Wright (“Winnie-The-Pooh: Blood and Honey 2”), Russell Geoffrey Banks (“Who’s Watching Oliver”), Tom Mulheron (“Slow Horses”), and Samira Mighty (“Love Island”).
“We are excited to bring the first live-action Bambi film ever to the screens…of course, a horror version,” says Stuart Alson, President of ITN Studios.
Tickets to see this horror take on the children’s classic will go on sale on July 10.
