Behaviour Interactive and Supermassive Games Teaming Up for New Narrative-Driven Horror Game Set in the ‘Dead By Daylight’ Universe

This week, during The Game Awards, Behaviour Interactive unveiled an all-new game set in the world of the hit horror multiplayer game, “Dead By Daylight.” The new game is being developed in partnership with Supermassive Games, the developers behind horror favorites like “Until Dawn” and “The Quarry.” Titled “The Casting of Frank Stone,” the game promises to deliver an intense narrative experience players won’t soon forget.

Players will delve into a gruesome mystery where every decision matters, shaping the story and its outcome. Offering an unprecedented look at the broader world of “Dead by Daylight,” they’ll experience an original story that will appeal to both fans of the acclaimed horror franchise and newcomers alike.

“We’re always looking at ways to offer different experiences to the ‘Dead by Daylight’ community,” states Mathieu Côté, Head of Partnerships at Behaviour Interactive. “Our players have been interested in a single-player narrative experience for quite some time, and we’re excited to expand the ‘Dead by Daylight’ universe and explore new territory with Supermassive Games, a studio that is at the forefront of modern video game storytelling.”

In this captivating nightmare, things are never as they seem. The shadow of sadistic killer Frank Stone looms over Cedar Hills, a town forever altered by the crimes he carried out in the depths of an Oregon steel mill. As a group of young friends are about to discover, Stone’s blood-soaked legacy cuts deep, leaving scars across families, generations, and the very fabric of reality itself.

“Crafting unique, immersive stories is what we’re passionate about at Supermassive Games,” says Creative Director Steve Goss. “We’re massive horror fans and are incredibly excited for the opportunity to tell a completely original story set in the terrifying universe of ‘Dead by Daylight.’ Expect emotional, tense moments and twists and turns as you get to know a new cast of characters outside of The Entity’s Realm.”

The Casting of Frank Stone is set to launch in 2024 and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and on Windows PC via Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the Microsoft Store.
