Blumhouse Announces New ‘Imaginary’ Immersive Experience in Los Angeles

Blumhouse and Lionsgate have teamed up for a new immersive experience promoting the upcoming horror film, “Imaginary.” From February 24 through March 2, Chauncey’s Imaginary Playhouse will immerse guests in a world inspired by the upcoming movie, and it’s all FREE!

Journey through six incredible rooms across two floors while dodging spine-tingling jump scares, perception-altering audio visuals, and stunning scene recreations. Each experience lasts 20-25 minutes and is group-friendly for up to six people.

Tickets for the event can be secured through Fever for select timeslots. The experience will be open from 4 PM – 10 PM Monday through Thursday and from 1 PM – 11 PM on weekends.

“Imaginary” arrives exclusively in theaters on March 8. The film taps into the innocence of imaginary friends – and begs the question: Are they really figments of childhood imagination, or is something more terrifying lying just beneath?

When Jessica (DeWanda Wise) moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice (Pyper Braun) develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister.

As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.
