Bulk of the ‘Halloween’ Franchise Coming to 4K UHD This Fall

Scream Factory has announced that just in time for the Halloween season, the first five original classic “Halloween” films will be available as all-new Limited Edition UHD & Blu-ray sets. The new UHD editions will be available as standalone discs or as part of some special limited offers.

Each new 4K UHD is $36.99 and will come with a limited Collector’s Edition poster featuring the newly commissioned cover art by artist Joel Robinson. However, if you’re looking for something a bit more with these new releases, Scream Factory is offering these additional offers.

For the first three films, Scream Factory is offering an exclusive 7″ red, orange, and yellow splatter vinyl from Sacred Bones Records featuring newly recorded music from John Carpenter.

For “Halloween,” the A-side includes the “Halloween Theme,” and the B-side contains a never-before-released recording of “Laurie’s Theme” newly recorded by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies. The splatter vinyl variant is limited to an edition size of 4,000 copies and is housed in a slipcase with new young Michael Myers art by frequent Carpenter collaborator Chris Bilheimer.

The “Halloween II” vinyl features “The Shape Enters Laurie’s Room” on side-A, and the B-side contains “The Shape Stalks Again.” Both tracks are newly recorded by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies and exclusive to this release. The vinyl will be limited to an edition size of 3,000 copies and is housed in a slipcase featuring artwork by Chris Bilheimer of Michael Myers with blood dripping from his eyes.

For “Halloween III,” the A-side includes “Chariots of Pumpkins,” and the B-side contains “Season of the Witch.” Both tracks are newly recorded by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter, and Daniel Davies and exclusive to this release. The vinyl will be limited to an edition size of 3,000 copies and is housed in a slipcase featuring artwork by Chris Bilheimer of the kid wearing the jack-o’-lantern Silver Shamrock mask.

Each UHD/Vinyl set is $58.99 and includes the exclusive limited-edition poster featuring the newly commissioned cover art by artist Joel Robinson. The 4K UHD and vinyl bundles are available now for pre-order on the Shout! Factory website.
