Briarcliff Entertainment has released the official trailer for “Christmas at the Kringles,” a new holiday horror-comedy from Kevin Lewis, director of “Willy’s Wonderland.”
The film follows the Seversons (Ron Livingston and Rachel Bilson), a couple who move into a quiet suburban neighborhood where their neighbors, the Kringles (Thomas Lennon and Arden Myrin), celebrate Christmas 365 days a year.
While initially charmed by the endless holiday cheer, the couple quickly discovers their neighbors are part of a sinister Christmas cult with plans for kidnapping and forced indoctrination. To survive, they team up with an alcoholic, washed-up Mall Santa (Rob Riggle) and a fellow neighbor (Donald Faison).
The ensemble cast also features Beverly D’Angelo and David Wain in supporting roles.
The new trailer serves up everything you’d expect from a festive slaughterfest: a holiday feast, killer nutcrackers, chainsaws, and a Christmas gimp.
“Christmas at the Kringles” opens exclusively in theaters Oct. 30.
