Maximum Entertainment has launched Chris Darril’s highly anticipated horror adventure, “Bye Sweet Carole,” in partnership with Italian studio Little Sewing Machine and Meangrip Studios. Inspired by the golden era of hand-drawn animation, the game is now available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam.
“Bye Sweet Carole” transports players into a hauntingly beautiful realm where dark fairy tales and nightmarish realities intertwine. Set in early 20th-century England, as the suffrage movement begins to reshape society, players will follow the story of young Lana Benton, a courageous young girl on a desperate search for her missing friend, Carole Simmons. Her path leads her through Bunny Hall orphanage and on to the mysterious kingdom of Corolla, a place controlled by the sinister Mr. Kyn, the ruthless owl Velenia, and swarms of ravenous tar bunnies. Caught between two worlds, Lana must find a way to survive and uncover the dark truth behind Carole’s disappearance.
