Disney Parks is Airing a Special Pre-Recorded Viewing of ‘Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular’ Fireworks Show for #Halfway2Halloween

Fireworks over Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park during "Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular"

As part of today’s #Halfway2Halloween celebration being hosted by The Disney Parks Blog, Disney is wrapping up the day with a special pre-recorded viewing of the nighttime fireworks show “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular.”

The fireworks show made its debut last as fall part of the exclusive entertainment offered during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida. The Disney Parks Blog did a live stream of the experience last year, so my hunch is that this is a re-airing of that presentation.

In “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular,” Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas tells a “not-so-scary” story about how anything can happen on Halloween night. Jack’s ghost dog, Zero, flies off carrying everyone along on a trick-or-treat adventure, where Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy find themselves drawn into a mysterious haunted house. They encounter dancing skeletons, waltzing ghosts and a whole series of troublemaking Disney villains along the way.

The #Halfway2Halloween viewing of “Disney’s Not-So-Spooky Spectacular” will stream at 7 PM ET via the Disney Parks Blog.
