Distortions Unlimited has unveiled its latest animatronic for 2024: a towering Banshee that stands over six feet tall.
The professional-grade animatronic, inspired by the creature from Irish folklore, is made of foam-filled latex atop a metal armature. It features an ambient mode in which the creature is eerily lit to look like she’s in the glow of the night as the sound of thunder plays. Once triggered, she rises to over eight feet tall, looking as though she’s levitating, and lets out a terrifying scream. Her mouth is full of razor-sharp teeth and can spray air or water, providing an additional element to the scare.
Banshee is available for purchase from Distortions Unlimited for $3,890. It includes a complete program, lighting effects, and a fog machine.
