Unigames has announced its latest project: a chaotic four-player online co-op experience where players inhabit the tiny, decaying bodies of zombie hamsters staged for a great escape from a top-secret laboratory.
In Zombie Hamsters, you and up to three friends must lead a fuzzy uprising through a gauntlet of experimental hazards. The game offers two paths to freedom: Spread total infection by turning the staff into zombies, or master stealth to sneak through narrow ventilation shafts and reach the outside world.
But escape is no easy feat; the lab is filled with environmental hazards and biological curiosities that are far hungrier than even a zombie hamster. To survive, players will have to gnaw, push, and utilize unique mutations—special abilities that can be chained together to solve complex physics-based puzzles and overcome obstacles.
While a release window hasn’t been announced, Zombie Hamsters is available to Wishlist now on Steam.
