Just in time for Halloween, publisher CULT Games has unveiled “The Horror Anthology Bundle,” a curated collection of outstanding indie horror games.
Featuring three hand-selected horror games that went under the radar during their initial release (“Metamorph,” “Below Nowhere,” “Harvest Hunt”), plus the newly released “Loop//Error,” this bundle is the first in CULT Games’ new initiative to uplift the creativity of lesser-known developers whose games didn’t get the recognition they deserve – as well as a sincere desire to provide players with awesome games at a reasonable price.
CULT Games’ “Horror Anthology Bundle” presents four unique and self-contained single-player horror games, brought together for their thematically rich narratives and powerful scares. The small but mighty team at CULT Games personally curated the games.
Loop//Error – Developed by Koro Pixel Studio
Tasked with checking on a deserted gas station on the outskirts of town, live the same night over and over (and over) as you descend into a disturbing pixel-art nightmare where every decision you make shapes the horrors that unfold.
Metamorph – Developed by Jackdaw Games
A dating sim like no other, attempt to win the affections of your high school crush while steadily mutating into a twisted cockroach monster. Navigate the perils of teen romance, fight the tendrils taking over your mind, and absorb the blend of hand-drawn character art and ’90s era retro graphics.
Harvest Hunt – Developed by Villainous Games Studio
Enter the cursed land of Luna Nova and protect its people from a relentless entity known as the Devourer in this folk survival horror roguelike. Build a deck of abilities and choose your weapons to outsmart the creature stalking your every move.
Below Nowhere – Developed by Dylan Bassett
A man made of red flesh is hunting you – he is the Meat Man. Trapped deep underground during humanity’s final war, escape a shifting reality built from memories that aren’t your own and try to survive with no means to protect yourself. The Meat Man likes to play with his food, and the Meat Man is hungry.
