Freeform’s ’13 Nights of Halloween’ to Become ’31 Nights of Halloween’ for 2018

Freeform, the channel formerly known as ABC Family has announced an aggressive holiday expansion for 2018 that includes an increase in the number of days in their “Nights of Halloween” programming.  The new holiday themed programming will kick off with “31 Nights of Halloween” on October 1.

The new expanded Halloween schedule is part of Freeform’s aggressive new holiday offering that will include over 1,000 hours of themed programming across the Halloween and Christmas season.  As part of the Halloween offerings, Freeform will air a Disney Parks special, Decorating Disney: Halloween by the producers of the Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings series.  The behind the scenes special will reveal all the tricks and treats behind the transformation of the Walt Disney World and Disneyland resorts into the scariest, yet still magical, places on Earth.  The network also announced a “Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Extravaganza.”

For those who love the Christmas season as much as Halloween, the kickoff to Christmas will run November 1-30, followed by Freeform Days of Christmas in the month of December.  Both of which will offer special programming along with the usual holiday movies you’ve come to love.
