Freeform has announced its 31 Nights of Halloween lineup for 2022, and while it’s filled with the usual family-friendly fare the programming event has come to be known for, this year, they’ve injected a handful of modern horror favorites into the mix.
While not Freeform’s first foray into horror, 2020 saw the addition of titles like “Scream,” “The Craft,” and “Sleepy Hollow,” and 2021 featured entries from both the “Alien” and “Jaws” franchise, this is the first year the network is featuring more recent horror titles. This year fans can look forward to seeing “Get Out,” “A Quiet Place,” “Happy Death Day,” and “Happy Death Day 2U,” and 2018’s “Halloween” as part of this year’s lineup.
In addition to more recent horror titles, Freeform viewers can look forward to Pop N’ Knowledge versions of “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Hocus Pocus,” and “Beetlejuice.” Pop N’ Knowledge features trivia about the films, which pops up on the screen throughout the film.
Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween starts October 1 and runs through Halloween night. You can check out this year’s full lineup below!
