On Tuesday, collectible toymaker Funko kicked off its Halfway to Halloween celebration Funkoween. The virtual event, held May 17-19, kicked off with over a dozen new product reveals across its various product lines. Below are some of the items announced that All Hallows Geek readers will likely be most excited about.
Funko Pop!
Sonic the Werehog
Funko announced a Hot Topic exclusive Funko Pop! figure of Sonic the Hedgehog in his werehog form, which first appeared in the video game “Sonic Unleashed.” The new figure is available for pre-order now from Hot Topic and is expected to begin shipping as early as June 7, 2022.
Sam from “Trick ‘r Treat”
On day one of Funkoween, Funko announced two new Pop! figures inspired by the character Sam in the movie “Trick or Treat.” The first figure announced is a Funko.com exclusive and features Sam with his iconic jack-o’-lantern lollipop. While no official release date was announced. Those interested in the Sam with Lollipop figure can sign up to be notified when he becomes available on Funko.com.
The second figure announced is Sam with his burlap trick or treat sack. This figure is getting a wider release and will likely be available wherever you buy Funko Pop! figures, but if you want to guarantee you get your hands on it, you can pre-order it now from Entertainment Earth, and it will ship in October when the figure is released.
Sally Face
The first Sally Face Pop! figure, inspired by the dark adventure video game, was released in 2020. On day one of Funkoween 2022, Funko announced three new figures inspired by the game. The figures will be released in August and include adult Sal Fisher, empowered Ashley, and Larry.

Hocus Pocus
Spirit Halloween will again be getting exclusive Hocus Pocus Pop! figures inspired by the infamous Sanderson Sisters. The latest release will be a set of Movie Moment Pop! figures featuring the sisters when they perform the song “I Put a Spell On You” at the Halloween party in the film. The figures are listed on the Spirit Halloween website now but will not be released until early July, so bookmark this page and check back in a couple of months.
Leprechaun
The Leprechaun from the “Leprechaun” film franchise is finally getting not one but three new Funko Pop! figures. The first figure unveiled is an Amazon Exclusive and features the Leprechaun holding a piece of gold covered in blood. The figure is available for pre-order now through Amazon and will be released on September 9, 2022.
The second Leprechaun figure is getting a wider release and will be available wherever you buy Pop! figures and features the Leprechaun in the same pose as the first figure, but without the blood. If you want to guarantee you get the plain Leprechaun Pop! Vinyl Figure, you can pre-order him now from Entertainment Earth.
The third Leprechaun Pop! figure announced is a glow-in-the-dark FYE exclusive and features the Leprechaun shining a flashlight on this face. The exclusive Leprechaun with Flashlight glow-in-the-dark Pop! figure is available for pre-order now from FYE and is expected to be released on July 28, 2022.
The Silence of the Lambs
Rounding out Tuesday’s Funkoween Pop! announcements is an all-new figure inspired by Silence of the Lambs. The new figure features Hannibal Lecter in his prison jumpsuit, holding a fork and knife. The figure will be available wherever you buy Funko Pop! figures, or you can pre-order him now through Entertainment Earth.
Funko Games
New Pop! figures weren’t the only “Hocus Pocus” announcement from day one of Funkoween 2022. Funko Games also announced the new Hocus Pocus Tricks & Wits Card Game.
The Sanderson Sisters have risen again, and only Max, Dani, and Allison can stop them! Players split into two teams—Kids versus Witches—and work together to outsmart their opponents with clever card play. Get the ghastly spellbook before the black flame candle burns out to win!
The Hocus Pocus Tricks & Wits Card Game is available for pre-order now through Amazon and will be released on September 27, 2022.
Loungefly
Trick ‘r Treat
During Funkoween, Funko announced that this fall, Loungefly will be releasing a new collection inspired by the film “Trick ‘r Treat.” The new collection will feature a Sam Mini Backpack, Lollipop Crossbody Bag, and Sam Flap Wallet. The new collection is not yet available for purchase, but you can sign-up in the coming soon section of Loungefly.com to be notified when they are available.
Pop! Pins
Rounding out day one of Funkoween 2022 were new Funko Pop! Pin releases from “Gremlins,” “Bride of Chucky,” and “The Nightmare Before Christmas.”
Gremlins
From “Gremlins,” Funko announced new Pop! Pins of Stripe in 3D glasses and Gizmo. The Stripe pin features glow in the dark teeth and scales, and the belly of the Gizmo pin features faux suede material to make everyone’s favorite Mogwai feel soft. Fans will also have a chance to find a limited edition glow-in-the-dark chase variant of Gizmo where all of the yellow parts on the pin glow.

Bride of Chucky
From Bride of Chucky, Funko is releasing two new four-inch enamel pins of Chucky, and Tiffany spattered in blood. Tiffany also features a white dress that glows in the dark.

The Nightmare Before Christmas
Rounding out Funko’s Pop! Pin announcements were four new pins inspired by the characters from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Being released this September, fans will be able to get four-inch enamel pins of Jack, Sally, Zero, and Oogie Boogie.
The Jack Pin features Jack Skellington making a scary face, and all of the white on the pin glows in the dark. The Sally pin features Sally in a sitting pose, and all of the blue of her skin glows in the dark. The pin of Jack’s ghost dog zero and Oogie Boogie, will feature a body made of faux leather material. However, Oogie Boogie will also have a limited edition glow-in-the-dark chase variant featuring a glow-in-the-dark body and dice.
