Core members of the band Nine Inch Nails and veteran film composers Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross have announced a first-of-its-kind music festival called “Future Ruins.” The single-day event will bring together some of the world’s most influential film and television composers to perform songs from the screen live on stage.
Set across three stages at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center, “Future Ruins” will feature over a dozen composers, including big names familiar to horror fans, such as Danny Elfman, John Carpenter, and Goblin. The event will also feature a performance of Howard Shore’s score of David Cronenberg’s “Crash” and a performance of the score works of Curtis Mayfield by Questlove.
