Garage Beer Teams Up With 20th Century Studios for ‘Predator: Badlands’

Following its spooky “Garage Fear” collaboration with “Goosebumps” illustrator Tim Jacobus, Garage Beer ramps up the horror in partnership with 20th Century Studios to celebrate the upcoming release of “Predator: Badlands.” Garage Beer and Jason Kelce are back for “Thermal Buzz,” a short film homage to the iconic 1987 “Predator.”

“Thermal Buzz” debuts on Halloween, Friday, October 31, at 10 a.m. CST on Garage Beer’s social channels. While you wait for the full short, a new 30-second spot can be seen below and will also run during commercial breaks on select NFL games, giving fans a taste of what’s in store.

“As a ’90s kid, there’s nothing I loved more than a good action movie. In my mind, it’s hard to find a movie more iconic than ‘Predator.’ From the memes to the epic quotes, nothing compares in terms of action-packed entertainment,” said Jason Kelce. “We’re just pumped that our short film can be part of the moment; I can’t wait to see Predator: Badlands.”

Filmed just outside of Orlando and directed by Jordan Phoenix, “Thermal Buzz” pulls inspiration and thrills from the original “Predator”โ€”only dumber. The cast includes notable faces like pro-wrestler Matt Cardona and former Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Tackle and Super Bowl Champion Beau Allen.

“Predator: Badlands” arrives in theaters everywhere on Friday, November 7. And on October 31, check out “Thermal Buzz” on Garage Beer’s social channels @drinkgaragebeer.
