The arthouse psychological thriller “The Otherkind” will celebrate an unprecedented Dual World Premiere Weekend, kicking off at the LA Horror Film Festival in Los Angeles on November 7, 2025, before heading to the Sin City Horror Fest in Las Vegas on November 8, 2025.
Written and directed by Mary C. Russell, “The Otherkind” tells the story of a scenic lakeside community as it’s corrupted by inexplicable disturbances. The narrative follows two converging threads: a woman who wakes up alone and tainted by an undesirable encounter during a night at the lake with friends, and a troubled local cop who begins a descent into paranoia. Chaos erupts in the sleepy mountain town when a terrifying infection taints their water supply.
The film stars Rebekah Kennedy (“Traumatika”), Marc Anthony Samuel (“The Merry Gentlemen”), Lestonja Diaz, and Paris Dylan.
Caroline O’Meara produced the film, with Gary A. LaBranche and Karen LaBranche of LaBranche Productions serving as Executive Producers.
“The Otherkind” will have its World Premiere on November 7 at 7:30 p.m. at the LA Horror Film Festival. It will then screen on November 8 at 8 p.m. at the Sin City Horror Fest. Tickets for both events are on sale now.
