‘Ghost Cam’ Arriving on Steam and Meta Quest in January

This week, during the “Women-Led Games Showcase: The Game Awards Edition,” Arch Rebels officially announced the January 19, 2026, launch date for “Ghost Cam.” The atmospheric, single-player paranormal investigation experience is coming to Steam and Meta VR headsets.

Blending psychological horror, surreal dreamscapes, and a uniquely haunting 70s/80s horse-girl aesthetic, “Ghost Cam” invites players to capture spirits, decode spectral clues, and unravel a chilling, emergent mystery that shifts each time they enter its world.

In “Ghost Cam,” players step into the shoes of a lone paranormal photographer, navigating shifting, liminal spaces filled with ghostly traces and hidden secrets. Armed only with a Polaroid-style camera, players must use its lens to capture spirits, uncover spectral remnants, and piece together challenging, escape-room-style puzzles to delve deeper into a twisting, haunted dreamscape.

Set against a surreal 70s/80s haunted horse girl aesthetic, “Ghost Cam” invites players into eerie stables, faded childhood memories, and corridors where ghostly hoofbeats linger just out of sight. Not all spirits are hostile; some will watch, some will guide, and some may trap you forever in their world. Your actions shape your Ghost Hunter ranking, unlock hidden mysteries, and determine which of the endings you’ll uncover.

The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer showcasing never-before-seen environments, spirit encounters, and fresh looks at both the VR and non-VR gameplay experience.

“Ghost Cam” will launch on January 19, 2026, on PC and Meta VR headsets. Step behind the camera, uncover the truth, and experience the horrors waiting beyond the frame.
