Genre-bending, post-apocalyptic game “Ghoul’s Saloon,” a unique blend of restaurant management and first-person shooter set in the Old West, has been announced by developer Demolish Games and publisher Quest Craft.
In it, players run a grimy wasteland saloon and junk stall where ghouls are just customers with eccentric tastes. The heart of the game is managing the venue: crafting the menu, serving patrons, setting prices, haggling with demanding customers, keeping the floor clean, juggling power and supplies, and deciding what to invest in next. Your daytime choices shape who shows up tomorrowโand what stalks around after closing.
Each night when you close up shop, you enter a focused survival phase where your systems get stress-tested. You outsmart prowling factions with traps, firearms, and hastily constructed barricades. Protect the venue, your staff, and your precious stock so the bar can open the next dayโbest of all, bodies fuel business. The remains of the day can be salvaged into useful items or sold as highly coveted, macabre goods, such as pickled knuckles or phosphorescent cordials.
And you don’t have to go at it alone; “Ghoul’s Saloon” supports both solo and co-op play. Teamwork allows you to split rolesโmanagement and defense both benefit from having a partner.
“Ghoul’s Saloon” is available to Wishlist now on Steam and is expected to arrive sometime in 2026.
