To borrow a phrase from my Halloween homie Miranda over at Spooky Little Halloween, we’ve got an Orange Alert! Grandin Road, the online purveyor of home decor and furniture has unveiled their 2019 Halloween collection and they’ve got some real spooky gems you’ll want to check out.
The complete collection houses over 300 “unique thrills,” but I figured I’d highlight some of my favorites from the New Arrivals here and let you browse the broader collection on your own.
Deluxe Celestial Crystal Ball
Sure it’ll set you back a whopping $159, but this thing is gorgeous and would make an incredible centerpiece at your next Halloween gathering. The Deluxe Celestial Crystal Ball operates like a plasma globe and “lightning” follows your finger as it moves along the surface all while the sound of thunder rolling emits from the ball’s base.
Constellation Pumpkins
Sticking with a celestial theme, another new release I was quite fond of is the new Constellation Pumpkins. Ranging in price from $49 – $99 these Constellation Pumpkins are lit from within by a warm white LED and feature constellations hand-painted across the surface connecting “stars” that light shines through.
Life-Size Halloween Ladies
Their name is kinda weak, but I really like the look of this trio of ghostly women. The Life-Size Halloween Ladies stand 5 1/2 feet tall and each features glowing white eyes and posable arms. Each figure is $99. I just wish since they promoted them as a trio they offered a discount for buying all three.
Katherine’s Collection Brunhilda Lifesize Witch
I collect figures of witches and black cats, but they’re a dime a dozen at Halloween and I only like collecting figures that have quality craftsmanship. This new life-size witch would fit into that category. Standing at 69″ tall, Brunhilda features sculpted, handpainted resin face and hands and realistic braided hair as well as poseable arms and legs. Sadly, at $1,599 she’s a bit out of my price range, but I can admire the craftsmanship.
Animated Cracking Mirror
I always love decor that can enhance your home haunt or Halloween party experience and this Animated Cracking Mirror can do just that. While there have been a lot of products like this on the market in recent years, usually with some sort of spirit appearing in the mirror, I feel like this size and quality of this far surpasses some of the stuff we’ve seen in recent years.
Motion sensor activated, this animated mirror will make your guests feel as if a playful spook is trying to make contact.
