Publishers Iphigames and Serafini Productions, alongside developer Horrified Triangles, have unveiled a terrifying new cinematic trailer for their upcoming first-person psychological horror title, Haunted Bloodlines.
Debuting during The Horror Game Awards’ Midsummer Night’s Scream showcase, the trailer offers a first look at new scenes from the full game and announces that Haunted Bloodlines will launch on Steam and PlayStation 5. For those brave enough to step into the dark early, a free playable demo is available right now on Steam.
What began as a passionate student project has evolved into a full-scale horror experience. Haunted Bloodlines draws heavy inspiration from genre staples like P.T. and Silent Hill, uniquely weaving these influences together with elements of Greek mythology.
The game drops players into the eerie depths of a sprawling, ever-shifting estate hidden deep within a dark forest. Following the sudden death of your father, you inherit the mansion—only to quickly begin questioning your sanity as disturbing truths about your ancestry come to light. Is your bloodline truly who you believe them to be? Or is the past a lie?
In Haunted Bloodlines, the deeper you explore, the less the environment makes sense. Left completely defenseless with no weapons to fight back, your only options are to run, hide, and maintain absolute silence as you navigate a dynamic environment where rooms seamlessly rearrange themselves around you. Survival relies entirely on your ability to track the mansion’s constantly shifting layout and solve reality-bending puzzles, stepping into the past and moving between the living world and its haunted reflection where each side holds pieces of the truth—and terrors you would rather not face.
Haunted Bloodlines is currently in development for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5.
