As part of the lead up to the SHUDDER exclusive premiere of Hell House LLC III: Lake of Fire, the film’s distributor, Terror Films is hoping to release the original Hell House LLC in theaters for the first time in a special one-night screening event in cities across the U.S., but there’s a catch…
In order for the screenings to happen, each theater hosting the screening must meet a certain ticket sales threshold by a specific cutoff date. If the threshold isn’t met, the screening will be pulled from the location. At the time of this writing Terror Films is expecting to play the film in Chicago, Hazleton & Scranton PA, Miami, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Orlando, San Francisco, Seattle and St. Louis, with more cities hopefully being announced in the future.
In order to help get the word out and sell tickets, Terror Films is seeking Volunteer Ambassadors for each city. These ambassadors will be tasked with not only helping to drive awareness and tickets sales but to also help check people in at the theater on the night of the event. Each volunteer, no more than two per city – eighteen years of age and up, who are chosen to assist in this process will receive a FREE limited-edition poster showcasing all three of the Hell House LLC posters.
Terror Films’ President Joe Dain has a few words on this theatrical launch for Hell House LLC. He says of the multi-city release: “we wanted to go above and beyond for this final installment and give all of the amazing fans a special treat. After all, without them Hell House LLC would not have become the digital phenomenon that it is, reaching near genre cult status. What better way than giving fans an opportunity to experience the original film in a theatrical setting with killer 5.1 surround sound.”
