This year, Lemax was kind enough to give us a look at its 2023 Spooky Town collection back in January, and with the collectible village maker announcing that some retailers are now selling this year’s collection, I thought now might be a good time to showcase the Michaels exclusives, which will arrive this summer.
Michaels will be home to seven exclusive pieces for 2023, including Grime and Slime Spring, Dungeon Cart, Wicked Wigs, Bigfoot Brewhaus, Haunted Estates, Wicked Garden Coven, and Dungeon of Terror. Check out each of the new exclusive pieces below:
Grime and Slime Spring
Grime and Slime Spring is a lighted table piece made to look like a skull fountain spewing slime. The resin piece stands just over 7.5 inches tall and is just over 5.5 inches wide.
Dungeon Cart
This all-new table piece features the grim reaper leading a poor skeleton soul in a prison conveyance to an eternity in the Spooky Town dungeon.
Wicked Wigs
This all-new lighted building takes inspiration from “The Bride of Frankenstein” and prominently features the bride and the monster on the building. The wig shop’s windows are illuminated to display various spooky wig styles, and the front of the store features a character reminiscent of Cousin It promoting the shop’s latest sale.
Bigfoot Brewhaus
Another lighted building, the Bigfoot Brewhaus, is where the locals go to grab some Yeti Spaghetti and an ice-cold Yeti Lager. The monsters outside Bigfoot Brewhaus, one of Spooky Town’s favorite haunts, look like they are enjoying a drink or two.
Haunted Estates
This lighted facade features a pair of Spooky Town houses with trick-or-treaters going door to door.
Wicked Garden Coven
The first of two exclusive Sights and Sounds buildings headed to Michaels for 2023 is the Wicked Garden Coven, the home to some of the Spooky Town witches. You don’t want to get too close without any form of magical protection. The skeleton in the well is a testament to that!
Dungeon of Terror
Rounding out this year’s Michaels exclusives is Dungeon of Terror, a dark ride-inspired Sight and Sound building featuring dragons, executioners, and more.
