Heretic Parfum Debuts New Collab with Maggie Gyllenhaal’s ‘The Bride!’

In collaboration with Warner Bros. Pictures, Heretic Parfum has debuted a new solid perfume compact inspired by Maggie Gyllenhaal’s highly anticipated feature film, “The Bride!” The fragrance, titled ‘Til Death, was crafted by Heretic founder Douglas Little to mirror the alchemy of the film’s central resurrection. “I thought about the ingredients as parts of her body,” Little explains. “Jasmine and rose stitched together as flesh. Cedarwood as bone. Frankincense as breath or spirit.” The scent profile is rounded out with notes of vintage violet leaf, orris, and cypriol.

Staying true to the film’s 1930s setting, the solid perfume is inspired by perfumes of the era and is applied by fingertip to pulse points. Poured by hand into the blackened silver compact, the perfume appears as dark as ink, but the noir solid dissolves on contact, leaving no trace but fragrance.

Set against a backdrop of 1930s Chicago, “The Bride!” stars Christian Bale as a lonely Frankenstein’s monster who seeks out groundbreaking scientist Dr. Euphronious (Annette Bening) to create a companion. Together, they resurrect a murdered young woman (Jessie Buckley), giving life to “The Bride.” What follows is a wild descent into murder, possession, and a radical cultural movement, as the two embark on a combustible, outlaw romance.

‘Til Death is available now from Heretic Parfum for $75. “The Bride!” is slated to arrive in theaters and IMAX on March 6, 2026.
