Usually, when Funko is going to drop new exclusives they announce it on their blog. but this time they went the quieter route and instead reposted a video from Hot Topic on Instagram. The video from HT Nerdette featured all of the exclusive collectibles Hot Topic was getting in September, which include new Beetlejuice Funko Pop! figures, as well as the previously announced Elvira FunkO’s Cereal.
For Beetlejuice fans, Hot Topic will be carrying an exclusive pair of Pop! figures of Beetlejuice and Lydia in their wedding attire; Lydia in her iconic red dress and Beetlejuice in his purple tux complete with finger and ring in his hand. While it might seem like these Pop! figures would come in a set they’ll actually be released as two separate Pop! Figures exclusive to Hot Topic.
The announcement also revealed that Hot Topic would be the exclusive seller of the latest box of FunkO’s cereal featuring Elvira Mistress of the Dark. Prior to the video, it was unclear who would be selling the cereal as various retailers got exclusivity to past releases like Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees.
Other highlights from the video include Hot Topic’s horror mystery box, which is coming to stores on September 20, Autumn and Halloween themed Poison Ivy and Harley Quinn figures from the DC Comics Bombshells series, 25th Anniversary Nightmare Before Christmas coffin figures, and 12″ plushies of Santa Pumpkin Jack from The Nightmare Before Christmas, Chucky from the Child’s Play franchise and Audrey from The Little Shop of Horrors. You can check out the full video and all of the exclusive collectibles coming to Hot Topic here.
Sadly, other than the Hot Topic Mystery Box, none of the items included release dates and at the time of this writing neither the new Pop! figures or the cereal were listed on the Hot Topic website, but at least we know they are coming!
