IHOP Becomes ‘The International Haunted House of Pancakes’ With New Halloween Menu

International Haunted House of Pancakes

IHOP has unveiled its new Halloween moniker, “International Haunted House of Pancakes,” and a new menu to go with it that includes a selection of new Halloween and fall-themed foods for 2021.

Despite having an Addams Family-themed menu for the Halloween season back in 2019, the creepy and kooky family is not returning to IHOP for the film’s sequel. Instead, the 2021 Halloween menu is dominated by America’s favorite candy company Reese’s.

Headlining the new fall food lineup is the new Reese’s Pieces Pancakes. This delicious new breakfast treat is definitely something E.T. would phone home about as it features four Four fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with Reese’s peanut butter sauce, chocolate sauce, Reese’s Pieces candy & whipped topping.

The new pile of pancakes is also available with an Ultimate Combo featuring two of the Reese’s Pieces Pancakes served with three strips of hickory-smoked bacon, three pork sausage links, two eggs made your way, and golden hash browns.

Reese’s peanut butter lovers will be able to pair the new Reese’s Pieces Pancakes with the new Peanut Butter Cup Cocoa. A hot chocolate crowned with whipped topping and topped with a drizzle of chocolate syrup and Reese’s peanut butter sauce.

For those looking for more traditional fall flavors, IHOP hasn’t forgotten you. The fall favorite pumpkin spice pancakes are returning for 2021. The pumpkin pancakes are made with real pumpkin and seasonal spices and are crowned with creamy whipped topping.

But for those looking for some new fall flavors, IHOP has added a Caramel Apple a la Mode Pancake to its menu. Created by 2021 Kid Chef Rayaan, the new pancake recipe features two fluffy buttermilk pancakes topped with warm, cinnamon-spiced apples, drizzled with caramel sauce, and crowned with one scoop of premium vanilla ice cream.

Rayaan’s creation was selected as part of the third-annual Kid Chef contest, which invites pediatric patients ages 6-16 from any Children’s Miracle Network Hospital to unleash their culinary creativity and concoct a new pancake recipe.

$1 from every Caramel Apple a la Mode pancake full stack or combo ordered will benefit Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Rounding out the 2021 pancake offerings is the kid-favorite Scary Face Pancake. Returning for the upcoming Halloween season, the Scary Face Pancake is a fluffy seven-inch pancake topped with whipped topping eyes and a smile. The pancake comes with a side of mini Oreo cookies, glazed strawberries, and candy corn, allowing you to create your very own spooky scary face.

And finally, for those in search of a breakfast other than pancakes, IHOP has announced the Monster Mummy Burrito. The all-new burrito features scrambled eggs, hickory-smoked bacon, pork sausage, diced ham, shredded Jack & Cheddar cheeses, hash browns, avocado, Poblano queso, and sour cream wrapped in a warm flour tortilla and finished with jalapeño eyes. Served with a choice of 2 buttermilk pancakes, hash browns, buttered toast, seasonal fresh fruit, or French fries.
