What if we aren’t alone in the universe? “Signal One,” the new sci-fi feature film from writer-director Jonathon Sobol (“A Beginner’s Guide to Endings”), is a gripping exploration of humankind’s enduring question.
The film stars Isabelle Fuhrman (“Orphan”), Josh Hutcherson (“Five Nights at Freddy’s”), David Thewlis (“Avatar: Fire and Ash”), and Dennis Quaid (“The Substance”).
Tech billionaire Sam Houston (Quaid) recruits brilliant computer scientist Annika (Fuhrman) for a high-stakes mission at a remote facility. There, she encounters the nihilistic creator of LITTLEMOUTH (Thewlis), a machine capable of intercepting alien transmissions. Annika quickly discovers a terrifying reality: alien intelligences are constantly communicating around us, but humanity is far too primitive to comprehend their signals. However, when the mission shifts from passive listening to “talking back,” the project spirals into chaos, forcing the team to fight for the survival of the human race.
Signal One arrives in select theaters and on digital platforms on June 5, 2026, via Radial Entertainment.
