Knott’s Berry Farm is once again pulling back the curtain on Southern California’s longest-running Halloween event. The park has officially announced Knott’s Scary Farm: Nightmares Revealed, a special preview event taking place on August 18, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Tickets for this special event go on sale this Friday, June 19, at 10 a.m. PT.
The annual haunt announcement kicks off with a special presentation at the Calico Mine Stage, giving attendees an exclusive first look at the new mazes, shows, and scare zones planned for the 2026 season. After the presentation, guests can roam the fog-filled streets of Ghost Town alongside legendary monsters and experience several exclusive park offerings:
- Panel Discussion – A rare opportunity to hear directly from the creative minds behind the terror, offering an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at some of the upcoming nightmares coming to Knott’s Scary Farm.
- Dressed to Die For – Step inside Town Hall for an up-close look at the artistry behind the scares. The teams responsible for bringing characters to life showcase costumes from past and present, highlighting the evolution of Knott’s Scary Farm’s most iconic looks.
- Make-Up Demonstration – Head over to the Calico Park Stage to watch Knott’s talented makeup artists transform ordinary faces into terrifying monsters right before your eyes.
- Lights On Experience – Take a walk through a Scary Farm maze with the lights on. This rare, behind-the-scenes perspective highlights the incredible detail, design, and craftsmanship that goes into building these immersive attractions.
- Legacy Store Merchandise Experience – Explore the Legacy Store and immerse yourself in the rich history of Knott’s Scary Farm. Be among the first to shop this year’s exclusive merchandise and take home a piece of the terror.
If all this weren’t enough, guests will also receive a parting gift at the conclusion of the evening to commemorate the experience.
If you can’t make the event or aren’t able to snag tickets before the sell out (and they will sell out), the main presentation will be broadcast live on the official Knott’s Berry Farm YouTube channel, with a post-event recording available to stream on-demand later.
