This week at San Diego Comic-Con, Letterpress PLAY and FX’s “Alien: Earth” debuted two limited-edition letterpress prints inspired by the highly anticipated sci-fi series, which premieres on FX, Hulu, and Disney+ on August 12, 2025. Now, the prints are being made available online.
The art was created in collaboration with FX and the “Alien” franchise, utilizing a combination of letterpress, indigo, and relief printing techniques. The two available pieces are the 11 x 16ย “Alien: Earth “USCSS Maginot Blueprint” Letterpress Printย and the 10 x 13″ Alien: Earth “The Crates” Letterpress Print. Each print is an original letterpress art print, signed by the creator of “Alien: Earth,” Noah Hawley.
The new art prints will begin shipping from Austin, TX, by August 28.
Set in the universe of the “Alien” franchise, “Alien: Earth” is set in the year 2120, and follows “Wendy” (Sydney Chandler; “Don’t Worry Darling”), a humanoid robot infused with human consciousness, and a ragtag group of tactical soldiers who, after a mysterious space vessel crash-lands on Earth, discover the ship houses mysterious life forms more terrifying than anyone could have ever imagined.
