ITN Distribution has announced that its Southern Gothic thriller “Salvation” is now available to rent or own exclusively on Amazon.
Directed by Mackenzie Munro (“Boot Camp”) and written by Alex Runnels (“Killing Animals”), “Salvation” tells of a troubled foster child who is placed with a kind family whose cult-like church of snake-handling Pentecostals is led by a pastor, who she comes to discover is responsible for heinous and abhorrent crimes. She must choose between reporting the pastor’s crimes or preserving her newfound support system, risking personal safety for a sense of belonging.
The film stars Claire Forlani (“Meet Joe Black”), Thomas Jane (“The Vanished”), Skeet Ulrich (“Riverdale”), Theo Rossi (“Sons of Anarchy”), Devon Bostick (“Okja”), and Ashley Moore (Amazon’s “I Know What You Did Last Summer”).
The film was produced by Walk Like A Duck’s Rob Goodrich and Jason Armstrong alongside Kari Skogland. Munro and Amelia Baker served as executive producers for Blonde Mamba.
