‘Mama’ Getting Collector’s Edition 4K UHD Release from Scream Factory

Scream Factory has announced a Collector’s Edition 4K UHD release of the 2013 horror film “Mama,” starring Jessica Chastain (“The Eyes of Tammy Faye”). The newly restored 4K version of the film will be released on September 30, 2025.

The Collector’s Edition release of “Mama” will have new features, including a new 4K restoration of the film and new interviews with the filmmakers, among other bonus features.

Directed and co-written by Andy Muschietti (The “IT” franchise), “Mama” is a supernatural thriller that tells the haunting tale of two little girls who disappeared into the woods the day that their parents were killed. When the young sisters are found alive in a decrepit cabin, their uncle (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau; “Game Of Thrones”) and his girlfriend Annabel (Chastain) take them in. As they try to introduce the children to a normal life, strange and terrifying events begin to unfold … and Annabel begins to wonder if the traumatized girls are the only guests they have welcomed into their home.
