Netflix has dropped the first trailer for the highly anticipated Norwegian action-adventure sequel, “Troll 2,” promising higher stakes, deadlier threats, and a new, colossal megatroll unleashing destruction across Norway.
In the sequel, a new, dangerous troll is awakened, thrusting beloved adventurers Nora, Andreas, and Captain Kris into their most perilous mission yet. To stop the creature’s relentless rampage, the trio must enlist new allies and delve deeper into Norway’s ancient history and Norse folklore for answers. As the clock ticks, our heroes face impossible odds to save their homeland from falling into darkness.
The core cast returns, led by Ine Marie Wilmann, Kim Falck, and Mads Sjøgård Pettersen, with Sara Khorami joining the adventure. Director Roar Uthaug is also back at the helm for the sequel.

The original “Troll” remains a global phenomenon, holding the record as Netflix’s most popular non-English film with over 100 million views since its December 2022 release. “Troll 2” will launch globally on Netflix on December 1, 2025.
