After making his debut at HorrorHound Weekend, Mezco Toyz has made its latest Return of The Living Dead Dolls release, Lou Sapphire, available online. The character, who first appeared as part of series 2 of the Living Dead Dolls back in 2001, has been completely reimagined, with the only similarities seeming to be his fiery yellow eyes and a devil’s tail.
This all-new Lou Sapphire doll stands approximately 10 inches tall and is outfitted in a satin red suit, featuring 18 points of articulation. The doll also comes with two swappable faceplates and five interchangeable hands—including devil horns and a right holding hand, perfect for gripping his pitchfork. In addition to his pitchfork accessory, Lou comes with two Contracts for Your Soul (one rolled and one unfurled) and a Ring of Fire, which can be worn atop his head.
The Return of The Living Dead Dolls: Lou Sapphire is available now exclusively from Mezco Toyz for $130 and comes in a collector-friendly, coffin-shaped box.
Mezco Toyz revived the Living Dead Dolls in 2023 with ‘Return of the Living Dead Dolls,’ a fresh take on the iconic horror dolls that feature 18 points of articulation, interchangeable facial expressions and hands, and movable eyes. Lou Sapphire is the sixth doll to be released with the updated treatment. Past releases have included Sadie, Eggzorcist, Damien, Sin, and Posey.
