American Girl and Monster High may be brewing a high-voltage crossover.
The two iconic toy brands posted a joint teaser video on social media Thursday hinting that Frankie Stein, Monster High’s signature green-skinned ghoul, is getting an 18-inch American Girl makeover.
Set inside an emergency room, the video shows American Girl medical staff rushing a covered stretcher through double doors.
“This may be our toughest case yet,” a doctor says, pulling back the sheet. “We’re going to have to stitch her back together.”
The doctor then lifts a green-tinted, doll-sized arm bearing a hospital wristband stamped with the name “Stein, Frankie.”
The post included a brief caption: “Something strange is happening at the AG hospital…”
Neither Mattel nor American Girl has officially confirmed a product launch, but the clip heavily suggests a limited-edition collaboration is on the way, and just in time for Halloween.
